As a young man, Michael struggled with
obesity, insecurity and depression. These challenges caused doctors to
place him on suicide watch. Proving to be a survivor, his endurance was
rewarded as he entertained offers to play college football. Tired of
pain, he choose to attend Texas A&M University on academic scholarships.
There he obtained a B.A. in Operations Management, and went further to
earn his M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix.
With 12 solid years working with business, non-profit, civic
organizations and as an instructor at the University of Texas at El
Paso, Michael pinned his critically acclaimed book - Help, My Boss is an
I.D.I.O.T! (Individuals who Don’t Inspire Other’s Talents).
Diagnosed in 2006 with two rare forms of skin cancer, he underwent
multiple surgeries and is now cancer free. His contagious enthusiasm and
exploding career make him one of the hottest speakers on the planet. He
